Yvette
STORE MANAGER
Yvette has been part of Oakley Village Store since day one and loves getting to know everyone who comes through the door – whether you're a regular, or just bringing your dog along for the visit!
Meeting new people is one of her favourite parts of the job, and she especially enjoys working alongside the store’s amazing team of volunteers. She also loves helping customers discover things they enjoy, and takes real pride in supporting small, local businesses.
Yvette previously worked in hospitality, marketing, and HR. And if you’re wondering what her top pick is? It has to be the cinnamon buns – hands down!

Stevie
SUPERVISOR & VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR
Stevie is one of Oakley Village Community Store’s Supervisors and also the Volunteer Coordinator, so many people who work with us know her well. Born and bred in Oakley, she has lived in the village all her life until about four years ago and even attended Oakley Primary School.
Stevie loves meeting new people and feels the store is a happy, welcoming place with a real family feel. When she’s not busy helping keep things running smoothly, managing the rota and supporting the volunteer team, you might find her cheering on Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. Her favourite treat from the café? The triple chocolate brownies — a truly yummy pick!

Susie
SUPERVISOR
Susie is one of our Supervisors at Oakley Village Store and brings a great mix of experience and warmth to the team.
Born in Africa, she lived there for 50 years and even ran her own safari business in Zimbabwe before moving to Oakley six years ago.
She’s worked locally as a carer, cook, and housekeeper and really enjoys spending time with both our volunteers and customers.
If you ask Susie about her favourite café treat, she’ll probably pick one of our chocolate-covered flapjacks or a chelsea bun – both equally delicious!

When it comes to favourite treats from the store, Jackie can never resist a gooey, sticky Apricot Danish Pastry — her top pick every time!
